Utilizing the latest in Heidelberg workflow that is tied to the world's finest Heidelberg press, the Speedmaster CD 74 (23 5/8" x 29") 6 color plus coater, Mpress is able to produce a variety of finished products of the highest quality at a very competitive cost. Great efficiencies are obtained through the filmless, digital imaging process. Developed to the highest level by the world's leading press manufacturer, Heidelberg, the process is a practical solution for efficiency and quality. Without the need for film... quality and speed increase without the penalty of higher cost. This process is especially cost effective for relatively short runs of 500 - 10,000. Longer runs up to 100,000 are also very efficient on this press, with press speeds up to 18,000 / hour.

In general, the higher the quality needs, for a multicolor project with tight time constraints and need for personal attention, the better the fit for Mpress.

The CD74, purchased in 2007, features the newest Heidelberg quality control system, InPress, a means of reading color & register on the fly, and making automatic corrections. This means faster make ready and optimal consistency throughout the run.
